An unnamed sponsor has donated 573 balls to support the
Kenyan Premier League (KPL). The sponsor is from South Africa and has wanted
his identity withheld.
This comes after the recent visit of Ajax Cape Town chairman
and owner John Comitis who met Kenyan Premier League club chairmen on Monday. Mr.
Comitis who is also a member of the executive board of the PSL, flouted a proposal for
KPL to partner with mobifootball.com and plan on sponsorship especially for the
Top 8 Tourney.
The Ajax owner also commended the partnership between SuperSport
and KPL saying that it was marketing the players’ talents by broadcasting the
live matches.
