Three second-year students from the University of the Free
State (UFS) Nigeria’s Temitope Adebayo-Ojo, Hlompo Mota and Andre Prinsloo are
in town as Google ambassadors.
The three will attend a three-day Google Ambassador Orientation
Summit in Nairobi starting today 11th to 13th June. They
will join Google Student Ambassadors from over 150 African Universities to learn more
about products offered by the company.
The Summit is currently going on at the Chandaria Auditorium,
Visa Oshwal Centre in Westlands.
The Google Ambassador programme was launched last year in Ghana,
Nigeria, and South Africa. The programme invites students to represent Google
for an academic year on their universities.
