30-year old Were was named the winner of the Supersport Bonga
Boli. Were is a trained cameraman who hopes to find a new career as a sport commentator.
The finale involved other 3 contestants who included Peter Kirumba, Abdinoor
Maalim and Rashid Mwamkondo.
Supersport Head of Africa Gary Rathbone believes that the
Bonga Boli Talent Search was a successful one and has provided a platform for
commentating talent in the region.
