Nation Media Group is the new entrant in the booming money transfer
business with its yet to be launched NationHela money transfer service, which
is targeted at Kenyans in the Diaspora.
With ‘Pesa Mfukoni’ as its slogan, the new
international money transfer service will allow one to receive money from
anywhere in the world, straight to their NationHela Prepaid Visa and mobile
phone.
To use it, one will first load money in the card [prepay
nature] to have total control of their spending, which is quite different from
the debit or credit card which links one to a bank account or allows them to
spend money that they do not have.
The NationHela card is available in Kenya at Diamond Trust
Bank (DTB) branches, NationHela agents and at Nakumatt supermarkets
countrywide. Kenyans in the diaspora will have to login to www.nationhela.com to send funds directly
to a Kenyan NationHela account.
