Kenya has produced almost all kinds of genres we have in the
world of film leaving the horror-genre path kind of untrodden. However, this will
change in the coming days with a yet-to-be launched Kenyan horror movie. The movie
titled THIEF, stars an all-Kenyan
cast and was produced locally.
Horror movies have been frightening and entertaining audiences
for over 100 years but Kenya’s first try and consequent release in the genre, ‘Otto the Bloodbath’ was banned as soon
as it was released. That was back in 2009, now attention turns to ‘Thief’ and
its reaction.
