The annual Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) Awards gala was
held on Friday night to recognize corporate and personalities who have made
outstanding contributions to the marketing profession.
The biggest winner of the evening was leading mobile
operator Safaricom that bagged three awards for its campaigns during the year. Bring
Zack Back Home and Kenyans for Kenya Campaign scooped the best private sector
product/services campaign and best corporate campaign on social media award.
The other winners
included:
- Billion Reasons to believe in Africa (Coca-Cola) – Best product and services campaign and Best corporate experiential Award
- East African Breweries Limited (EABL) – Best integrated product campaign for its Pilsner Campaign and Best product campaign on social media for Tusker Project Fame.
- Kenya Power – Best corporate identity campaign in the Government and NGO
- Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) – Best private sector corporate identity Campaign and Best integrated marketing campaign in the private sector
- International Finance Corporations (IFC) Campaign on lighting Africa – Best experiential campaign in the Government and NGO
- Samsung galaxy note Campaign – Best experiential campaign in product and services
- Daily Nation – Highest share of readership nationwide
- Radio Citizen – Highest share of radio listeners nationwide
- Citizen TV – Highest share of viewers nationwide
