United States-based Kenyan actor, Edi Gathegi is set to co-star in a new comedy dubbed 'Family Tools'. The show was among those announced by ABC this week in the mid-season programming and will premiere on Wednesday, May 1 at 8:30 pm.

The 10-episodes show stars Kyle Bornheimer as Jack Shea, an ex-policeman who returns home after a series of bad luck (accidentally shooting himself being one of them). Jack later gets the opportunity to take over his father's (J.K Simmons) handyman business after a heart condition retires the old chap.
Together with his assistant named Darren (E. Gathegi), the two set on maintaining the family business in one ribs-cracking sitcom.
