Kenya will host the 2012 Women in Tourism International
Alliance (WITIA) annual Educational Tour from 21st to 30th
October. This will be the first the prestigious WITIA congress will be held in the
African continent.
The achievement was made possible by the leadership of the
15 local WITIA members belonging to the Kenya Association of Women in Tourism (KAWT).
The congress will attract about 600 local and international
delegates, converging for an interactive learning opportunity designed to engage
tourism professionals in the study of tourism practices in designation worldwide.
Founded in 2006, WITIA is an international networking organization
that seeks to link tourism professionals all over the world.
