The sixth edition of the Eco-Warriors Award Ceremony Gala
night will take place on 16th November at the Nairobi Serena Hotel.
The awards, which are organized by Ecotourism Kenya, seek to
recognize and reward innovations in sustainable tourism while promoting best practices.
Potential nominees for each category must clearly
demonstrate elements of responsible, respectful, and sustainable tourism.

About Eco-Warriors
Awards
The awards were established in 2005 by Ecotourism Kenya, a
not-for-profit sector association as part of their drive to broaden industry understanding
of responsible and sustainable tourism. Nominees are assessed against 4 main
criteria that include, real achievements, outstanding innovation, sustainability
of the initiative and the ability to replicate. The four have to be consistent with
respect for environment, local people and their cultures as well as economically
empowering the related communities.
