Kenya’s iHub among Google For Entrepreneurs partners

Google has partnered with Startup Weekend, Women 2.0 and Kenya’s iHUB among others to launch Google For Entrepreneurs, an umbrella for its various programs that cater to startups and entrepreneurs around the world.
Google targets partnerships with strong organizations that serve entrepreneurs in local communities, Google-led programs to bring its teams and tools directly to entrepreneurs, and placing relevant Google tools in the hands of startups as they are getting off the ground and ready to scale.
Google justifies the launch with this statistic: there are approximately 400 million entrepreneurs across 54 countries, and 69 million early-stage entrepreneurs offering new products and services.
