Pepsi Kabeberi Sevens Day one wrap


Recently crowned Prinsloo Sevens champions Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) started their campaign against Mount Kenya University beating them 61-0 later defeating the other sides in Pool ‘A’, Comras and Western Bulls 47-5, 36-0 respectively, at the RFUEA grounds on Saturday.   
 Kabeberi Sevens defending champions and series leaders Quins, KCB, Blak Blad, Homeboyz, Kisumu, Impala, Nakuru and Strathmore are in the main cup quarters slated or Sunday.  
Hosts Mwamba RFC were stunned by a gallant Blak Blad side, losing 5-10 in a thrilling encounter that saw the defending National Sevens Circuit champions miss out on the main cup.
Mwamba RFC will play in the bowl quarters alongside Daystar, Comras, Bungoma, Western Bulls, Machine, Thika, Nondies
In the Shield quarters, UNICEF will play alongside Webuye, Multimedia University, Stormers, Kimathi University, KCA, Mount Kenya, and Catholic University.
