Vote: 2012 Kalasha Film and Television Awards Nominees

Public voting for 2012 Kalasha Film and Television Awards is now Open.

Nominees for the fourth edition of Kalasha Film and Television Awards were announced early last week. The awards which are hosted by the Kenya Film Commission will culminate in a main gala event slated for 8th December 2012.

 --Press Release -- The Kalasha Awards have been designed to allow Kenyans to celebrate their cultural diversity through film and to recognize the role of film in economic sustainability. Specifically, the awards seek to motivate local producers towards quality film and TV productions. The Kenya Film Commission, whose mandate is to develop and promote the local film industry, organizes the event.
