In the agreement signed a few weeks ago between KQs CEO Titus Naikuni and Etihad's CEO James Hogan, the two carriers look forward on a wide range of cooperation measures with Etihad in particular expanding its network into Africa.
The National carrier will initially fly to the UAE capital three times a week, using a two class B737-800NG, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Abu Dhabi's national airline, Etihad presently has daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi, using an Airbus A320.
