Mukhisa Kituyi to head UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)

Former Trade Minister Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi has been appointed the new Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). 

Dr. Kituyi who was once an MP of Kimilili becomes the first Kenyan to head a United Nations agency as a Secretary General. He will also simultaneously serve as the undersecretary of the United Nations.

Indo-Asian Trade & Cultural Expo Opens in Nairobi

The Indo-Asian Trade and Cultural Expo 2013 opened on Friday at Sree Sanathan Dharam (SSD) Sabha Hall, Spring Valley, Westlands Nairobi and will run until February 10th.

The event will showcase the goods from over 90 international and 30 local exhibitors from various sectors including wholesalers, traders, importers, exporters, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, real estate developers and artisans.
