FoodAgro Africa 2013 Slated for October

The 17th annual Food, Hotel & Agriculture exhibition, FoodAgro Africa will take place from 4th to 6th October 2013 at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Nairobi.

Two Kenyan farming ideas bag $7,500

Two farming ideas from Kenya have been awarded a grant of $7,500 (approx. Sh630,000) in the third edition of the Africa Rural Connect Contest.

KUZA Doctor by Backpack Farm’s founder Rachel Zedeck, was one of the innovative farming ideas which walked away with $5,000 (Sh420,000) for their farming mobile toolkit.
