Ksh 75 Million for Cultural Centre Construction



The government has spent Ksh 70 million this year in the construction of 9 cultural centers all over the country, this is according to the PS in the Ministry of National Heritage, Jacob Mairon. The PS has disclosed that government will spend Ksh 75 million more to further build seven centers in the country.
The PS also said that another Ksh 50 million has been set aside for national mausoleum in respect of honoring freedom fighters at Freedom Corner in Uhuru Gardens.
The PS who was speaking in the Nyeri cultural day has pointed that establishment of such centres was meant to preserve the country’s cultural diversity.
