USIU wins 2012 SIFE Kenya National Competition

United States International University SIFE team was named this year’s SIFE Kenya National Champion and will advance to represent Kenya at the SIFE World Cup in Washington D.C this September.

The USIU team cruised over fourteen teams that participated in the 10th SIFE Kenya National Business and
Entrepreneurship Competition held on June 30 at the Sarova Panafric Hotel. The event attracted more than 300 people including over 31 leading CEOs and MDs from 19 companies.
USIU will depart in October to join 39 international SIFE teams to compete in this year’s World Cup competition in D.C.

Established in 1975, Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) is an international non-profit organization which works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing skills to become socially responsible business leaders.

SIFE Kenya was established in 2003 as a partnership between SIFE International and the Inter Region Economic Network (IREN).
