The fourth edition of the Kenya Airways 2012 Masai Mara
Marathon will be held on September 22nd at the Lemek Conservancy.
Over 3000 local and international athletes are expected to compete
in the wild of Mara National Reserve, home of the famous ‘Big Five’ and the 7th
Wonder of the World (Great annual wildebeest migration).
The event has 2 categories, the 21km race and 5km family fun
run. Winners in the men and women half marathon will pocket Sh250,000 each.
Register now for
Sh5000 at any of Kenya Airways sales office in the country. Registration closes
on 10th September.
About the KQ Masai Mara Marathon
The Masai Mara Marathon is a charity event organized to
raise funds for the Lemek Conservancy Community to address shortages in
Education facilities, access to water, health, sanitation, and security in the
larger Masai Mara National Reserve.
