Several Kenyan institutions were named in the nominee’s list
of the 19th World Travel Awards, voted by leading travel agents worldwide.
The World Travel Awards (WTA) considered the “Oscars of the
travel industry” will host its first ceremony in Kenya’s capital Nairobi. WTA’s
Africa and Indian Ocean Ceremony2012 will take place on 26th September,
with key tourism players in the region scheduled to attend.
The event will be co-hosted alongside the Africa Hotel
Investment Forum (AHIF), a 2-day conference that will showcase the hospitality investment
potential of the region.
