K24's Jeff Koinage Destined for Arise Television Network

Host of the popular TV talk show 'Capital Talk' and K24 TV's chief anchor, Jeff Koinage is on his way out.

Jeff who is behind the trademark slogan, 'All Kenyan, All the Time' is said to be headed to South Africa for a top anchor and reporter position with Arise Television Network, an off-shoot of Arise Magazine. The new network, will broadcast live news and features on the African continent to viewers in major global cities.

Arise Africa is owned by Nigerian Media magnate Nduka Obaigbena, the chairman and founder of Nigerian newspaper 'Thisday', one of the largest and most influential media brands in the continent.

Arise Television Network has an operation licence in London, and intends to broadcast live in New Delhi, Johannesburg, Beijing, New York, Lagos and a host of other capital cities of the world.

The Emmy-Award winning journalist was a former Africa correspondent and reporter for CNN International (2001 - 2007) and has been pivotal in the growth of K24, interviewing Kenyan luminaries, local & world politicians, celebrities, and other high profile personalities on the proverbial 'The Bench'.

Earlier in September there was talk that he was leaving MediaMax-owned K24 for a high profile job in either South Africa or London, with a base salary of Ksh. 80 million a year.
