Dennis Kimetto led a Kenyan clean sweep at the Tokyo Marathon, one of the six World Marathon Majors on Sunday.
The 29-year-old posted a record time of 2 hours, 6 minutes and 50 seconds ahead of compatriots Michael Kipkorir Kipyego and Bernard Kiprop Kipyego who came in second and third respectively.
Ethiopia's Aberu Kebede won the women's division in 2:25:34. Compatriot Yeshi Esayias (2:26:01) came in second and Irina Mikitenko of Germany was third.
