Reggae and Dance Hall artiste Wyre Da Lovechild has been awarded the Best New Entertainer Award at the 32nd Annual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) held in Coral Springs Centre for the Arts-Florida, USA on Saturday.

Wyre Nominated for International Reggae & World Music Awards

Reggae and Dance Hall artiste Kevin Waire better known by his stage name 'Wyre Da Love Child' has been nominated for the International Reggae and Music Awards set to take place on May 4th 2013.

In the Best New Entertainer category the award-winning artiste will face Jamaica's dancehall artistes Chronixx and D Major. 

The event will be held at the Coral Springs Centre For The Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Peace Concert with Jah Cure & Duane Stephenson

Jamaica’s Reggae artiste Jah Cure will be coming back to Kenya this time with Duane Stephenson. The singer who recently paid a visit to Kibera is expected to headline a peace concert dubbed ‘WorldCry Peace Concert’ on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Kingston 10 Reggae Awards Slated for January

Homeboyz Radio’s Kingston 10 Reggae Awards, currently in its fifth year, will take place in January 2013.  

The awards which is based on Kingston 10, a weekly Reggae and Dancehall show that airs every Sunday from 11.00-13.00 on Homeboyz Radio 103.5; seeks to recognize Reggae and dancehall artistes whom Kenyan listeners consider to be the best in the genre of reggae and dancehall.
