MILOÒ COMMITS KSHS 5 MILLION FOR THE NATIONAL PRIMARY SCHOOL BALL GAMES

Thursday, June 13th, 2013 Nestlé Kenya, through its leading MILOÒ brand has announced its sponsorship for this year’s Kenya Primary School Ball Games to the tune of KShs. 5 Million.  The Games are scheduled to take place in Bungoma this month from June 19th to 21st, 2013.

The company also committed to extend its partnership with the Ministry of Education towards providing support for the Primary Schools Games with the focus being on football.

Nestlé announced the sponsorship package partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Kenya Primary Schools Sports Association (KPSSA), which will cover the provision of playing kits to participating teams, track suits to games officials, balls, trophies, medals, certificates, T-shirts among other items.

Nestle Kenya To Sponsor Kenya Nationals Primary Schools Games

Food manufacturing giant, Nestlé Kenya in partnership with the Ministry of Education is set to announce the sponsorship of this year’s Kenya Nationals Primary Schools Games on Thursday, June 13th, 2013, at the Norfolk Hotel from 10.00am to 11.30am.

The National Games are expected to be held in Bungoma County, this month from June 19th to 21st, 2013.

Doodle 4 Google 2013 Competition Launch

As Kenya celebrates its 50th anniversary since independence in December, Google Kenya will launch the Doodle 4 Google 2013 competition, which will be open to all Kenyan school students aged between 6 years to 18 years.

The competition will encourage them to create their own doodles, allowing the students a chance to win a techie prize for himself/herself and for his/her school.

The theme for the 2013 contest is “My Kenya.”

Over 12000 Schools to benefit from PesaPal's Fees Automation

Online payment platform PesaPal now has over 12,000 schools signed up for its School Pay service offering parents and guardians an easy solution to paying their children's school fees.

According to Pesapal.com no bankers cheques, no queues and no repeat visits to the school are required anymore.

The platform allows transactions online via Safaricom's MPESA, Airtel's ZAP and Essar Group's YU CASH accounts.

2012 KCSE Results to be Released on Friday


The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) Chief Executive Officer Paul Wasanga has announced today that the council will release the 2012 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) on Friday, March 1, 2013.

Education minister Mutula Kilonzo is expected to announce the results at Mitihani House, Nairobi starting at 10am.

2012 KCPE Results are Out


The results of the 2012 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations were released on Monday morning by Education Minister Mutula Kilonzo, seeing three pupils announced top with 430 marks  each

The three were Kinoti Joy Kathure from Meru County, Mwaura Boniface and Wachira Njomo, both from Kiambu with 430 marks out of a possible 500. 

According to the minister, the results were far much better than those of 2011 and 2010, where a total of 416,900 candidates scored above 250 marks representing 51.35 percent of the candidates who sat for the 2012 examinations.
