Saturday night, Geoffrey Mutai dominated the mens 10k race
in Ottawa, Canada and won it in a time of 27:41. He was too close to break the
event record of 27:24, which was set by Deriba Merga.
Last year he won both the Boston and New York Marathons, but
will unfortunately not feature in the Kenyan team to the London 2012 Olympics. Fellow
countryman, Simon Ndirangu came third clocking 28:37.3
