The Agrochemicals
Association of Kenya is requesting entries for an Environmental Award to individuals or organizations that meet the
following criteria:
I.
An organization or individual who will have put
in place a system to protect the workforce from contamination during the normal
activities within the premises and promoting their safety
II.
An organization or individual who will have a
recycling process using the Best Available Technologies (BATs) and Best
Environmental Practices (BEPs)
III.
An organization or individuals with a disposal
system using Best Available Technologies (BATs) and Best Environmental
Practices (BEPs)
IV.
An organization or individual who takes part in
tree planting and environmental conservation.
V.
Alternatively, any other system put in place
that protects the environment, which should be described in detail.
The Association is encouraging companies or individuals to
try to do something in all areas mentioned.
Entries clearly showing how the above criteria have been met
should be forwarded to:

Deadline for entries
will be 15 September 2012, while the
winning entry will be awarded during the Association’s annual dinner to be held
on the 7th December, 2012.

Agrochemicals Industry represented globally by CropLife International. It is aslo the national umbrella organization for manufacturers, formulators, re-packers,
distributors, farmers and users of pesticides.
