ABN Productions in partnership with CNBC Africa has announced
the East African finalists for the All Africa Business Leader Awards (AABLA)
2012.The awards wish to acknowledge individuals who have demonstrated exemplary
leadership in the business world.
The awards will take place in Kenya for the East Africa region while for the Southern Africa one will be hosted in Cape Town, before moving
back to the finale in Johannesburg, South Africa. Winners from the regional
events will proceed through as finalists for the AABLA finale later this year.
"I am greatly honored to be a judge of such outstanding
leaders in a very open, serious and well organized competition. I hope that
more and more leaders will be encouraged to showcase their genius for this
continent,” says Deputy Vice Chancellor of Strathmore Business School Dr.
George Njenga.
The five categories are:

East Africa Business Leader of the Year
2.
East Africa Business Woman of the Year
3.
East Africa Young Business Leader of the Year
4.
East Africa Entrepreneur of the Year
5.
East Africa Lifetime Achievement Award
Winners of the AABLA East Africa awards will be announced at
the awards ceremony, set to take place at the Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi,
Kenya on 23 August 2012.
The winners of each region automatically become finalists in
the AABLA grand finale to be held on the 25th in Johannesburg, South Africa.
