Two Kenyan musicians and a leading group have been nominated in the 2012
Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts (BEFFTA) Awards
which will take place on 27th of October at the Hippodrome in
London, UK.
Kenya’s award-winning hiphop group, Camp Mulla has received
nominations in the category ‘Best International Act’ where they will face Zahara,
Cover Drive, Nigeria’s Dbanj, Grace Galaxy, and Ruff Kid.

The other two music sensations, Nameless and Nonini have been
nominated in the same category, ‘Best International Afrobeats Act’. The
category has top artiste namely WizKid, D’Banj, Chameleon, Wande Coal, Fally
Ipupa, Zahara, Iyanya, Ice Prince, Sarkodie, Juliana, and Tiffany.
The BEFFTA Awards are one of the biggest awards in Europe,
honoring showbiz and entertainment work from artistes in the black and ethnic
communities worldwide.
