Kenyan clothing production workshop, Soko is the 2012 Source Awards winner in the Africa category. Soko was named among 11 other winners at a ceremony held in Central London on Tuesday evening.
The clothing house which has offered a means of making a living for needy people in the country, was honored with the prestigious Africa Award, recognizing its outstanding achievement as a fashion business that transforms livelihood as well as providing opportunities in Africa.

Joanna’s vision was for Soko to provide the link between the international fashion industry and the local community, Kenya; through making beautiful clothes Soko provides fair employment to this impoverished community.
