Legendary American R&B crooner Lionel Richie is destined for Kenya, Ghafla! reports. Kenyan promoters are keen on bringing the singer who is also a producer, song writer and actor, this after the success of James Ingram and Erykah Badu.
Launching his career in the 70s as lead vocalist for the Commodores, they released hits like "Brick House" "Three Times a Lady", "Sail On," and "Still", before he went solo.
In the recent past, Kenya has hosted international music icons including the likes of Joe Thomas, Shaggy and Akon.
