Julius Kogo maintained his winning streak at the Crim
10-mile race after finishing in a time of 46:45 to win the race for the third straight
year on Saturday in Flint, Michigan.
Last year, the 27-year-old he crossed the finish line in a
time of 47:15 while back in 2010, he finished in 47:06. This is another win for
Kogo who last Saturday won a half marathon in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Mourad Marofit came second ahead of two Kenyans MacDonald
Ondara and Onesmus Serem who took third and fourth place at 47:24 and 47:29.
In the women division, Caroline Rotich emerged victorious in
a leading time of 53:44 ahead of fellow compatriot Risper Gesabwa who crossed
the finish line at 54:21.
