The fifth edition of the Swahili Fashion Week (SFW) will take
place at the Michael Joseph Centre in Nairobi from October 6th.
SFW provides talented local designers from East and Central
Africa with a forum to showcase their creativity and skill in Fashion.
Through its ‘Made in Africa’ concept, its mission is to improve
fashion design quality output from the East African region as well as promoting
upcoming fashion brands and sourcing for markets.

Week
Is a platform for fashion and accessory designers founded
and created by world-acclaimed Tanzania couturier, Mustafa Hassnali in 2008.
Currently in its fifth year, SFW has become the biggest annual fashion event in
the whole of East and Central Africa.
