2012 KCPE Results are Out


The results of the 2012 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations were released on Monday morning by Education Minister Mutula Kilonzo, seeing three pupils announced top with 430 marks  each

The three were Kinoti Joy Kathure from Meru County, Mwaura Boniface and Wachira Njomo, both from Kiambu with 430 marks out of a possible 500. 

According to the minister, the results were far much better than those of 2011 and 2010, where a total of 416,900 candidates scored above 250 marks representing 51.35 percent of the candidates who sat for the 2012 examinations.

10. Muriga Veronica Wairimu, 426 -  Nairobi County
