Seven-Nations Africa States Bowling Championships at Umhlali Country Club in
Durban, South Africa.
In the Ladies singles, Kenya leads with six points ahead of
rivals Zambia who are on four points.
In the women’s fours category, Kenya is second placed behind
Zambia women’s bowling team who are on four points.
On Wednesday, Miriam Ndungu won the women’s singles against Zambia’s
Marimba in 21 shots to 18 shots.
In the men’s singles, James Ngugi lost narrowly to Zambia’s
Chris Kapata by 19 shots to 21 shots.
In the women’s division, Kenya lost to a gallant Zambia team
led by captain Foster Banda by 10 shots to 34 shots.
In the men’s four category, Kenya lost to Zambia by 14 shots
to 19 shots.
