Amazon Appstore Coming to Kenya

Online retail firm, Amazon has announced that it will expand its Android-based appstore to cover nearly 200 countries - including Kenya.

The launch which is expected in the coming months will have nearly 30 African countries with access to Amazon's app distribution service.

The firm is also inviting developers to submit their apps for distribution across the newly-added countries by visiting the Amazon Mobile App Distribution Portal.

To get access to the store, you’ll need to side-load the necessary software onto your smartphone or tablet.
